About us.
Based in Denver, Clic Design Studio was founded by interior designers Sarah McGarry and Rene Stremel. We honed our design skills working first at local firms and then leading projects for a global design firm. Together, we worked on forward-thinking commercial interiors ranging from corporate headquarters to offices for energy clients, law firms, financial, and professional services firms. We bonded over the joy of creating spaces that not only met a client’s strategic goals, but also knocked their socks off from a design perspective.
Clic Design Studio was born from a desire to celebrate all the things we love.
After working at great big firms leading great big teams, we found we missed getting our hands dirty orchestrating every last detail of a design for our clients. We saw an opportunity to build a design practice where the goal was more than successful project delivery; it’s an enjoyable process where everyone is excited to work together again. We wanted to bottle that feeling when everything just clicks.
So, one day, when we were thinking through what we’d want to call such a firm, we happened to be hanging out with some of the other loves in our lives – our kids – and realized the initials in their names spelled out that feeling we were hoping to achieve: Clic. And the rest is history.
